Key Responsibilities

• Conducting individual therapy sessions with clients, focusing on developing and achieving personalized treatment goals.
• Utilizing prevention-oriented approaches in therapy to address mental health challenges and promote overall well-being.
• Creating, implementing, and reviewing comprehensive treatment plans that reflect each client’s needs.
• Collaborating with external treatment providers and placement agencies to facilitate holistic care and resource sharing.
• Completing accurate and timely documentation for each client interaction, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintaining an active caseload, scheduling regular sessions, and keeping detailed session notes for ongoing client tracking.
• Participating actively in staff meetings to contribute to team discussions, share insights, and enhance service delivery.
• Contributing positively to the workplace culture by engaging with peers and promoting a supportive environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Mental Health Counselors work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment issues. The telehealth format allows us to reach underserved populations in Atlanta and surrounding areas, ensuring that everyone has access to vital mental health resources. Your ability to build rapport and instill trust in clients will be crucial in helping them navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Prior experience of at least one year in mental health counseling or similar fields.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to engage clients effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster strong therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a telehealth environment, with proficiency in digital communication tools.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and an inclination for team collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits
