Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, ensuring alignment with their mental health goals.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities and frameworks to provide prevention-oriented therapy, fostering resilience and coping strategies among clients.
• Continuously monitor and review treatment plans through regular assessments and client feedback, adjusting approaches as necessary to enhance efficacy.
• Collaborate with external treatment providers such as psychiatrists, social workers, and placement agencies to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, including timely session notes and treatment updates, adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development activities, contributing insights toward the enhancement of team practices.
• Foster a positive and supportive work culture by sharing knowledge and participating in team-building initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Therapist will primarily serve a diverse adult client population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. Our goal is to provide accessible and equitable mental health services to clients within the Atlanta area and beyond, with a particular emphasis on community-driven care.

Qualifications

• A valid and fully-licensed credential as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
• A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect effectively with clients from various backgrounds.
• A genuine passion for mental health advocacy and the welfare of clients.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or a related field, with a demonstrated history of successful client outcomes.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and referral systems is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership qualities, initiative, and a collaborative spirit.

Compensation and Benefits
