By utilizing telehealth technologies, you will conduct sessions with clients from the comfort of your chosen workspace while still benefiting from a supportive and dynamic practice setting. Our organization uses advanced electronic health record systems, including AVATAR, to streamline client documentation and communication, ensuring that you can focus on what matters most—your clients.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations during initial consultations and at regular intervals throughout treatment to assess clients' emotional and psychological state.
• Design personalized treatment plans that reflect individual goals and therapeutic needs for diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to engage and support clients effectively.
• Monitor clients' progress continually and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate seamlessly with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, physician assistants, and social workers, to develop comprehensive care plans.
• Provide timely follow-up for clients who require additional medical interventions or hospitalizations, ensuring continuity of care.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues and the importance of therapeutic compliance in managing their conditions.

Our clinic serves a broad range of clients experiencing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction disorders, and other mental health issues. By tailoring your approach to each client’s unique experiences and cultural background, you will help cultivate a therapeutic alliance that fosters trust and encourages openness.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong interpersonal skills that enable effective client interactions.
• A thorough understanding of therapy best practices and an ability to implement evidence-based modalities.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health counseling role, showcasing successful client outcomes.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR and familiarity with telehealth platforms to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Experience managing clients with co-occurring disorders or complex psychological issues.
• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and national counseling standards.
