We are actively seeking passionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC) to join our dedicated team at Banyan Recovery & Treatment Centers. This full-time position is primarily remote, allowing you to conduct telehealth and face-to-face sessions from our outpatient office located in Little Elm, Texas. As an integral member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, trauma-informed mental health care to our diverse patient population.

This position offers a flexible remote work environment, with the convenience of conducting therapy sessions from your home or any space conducive to client care. Our operational hours range from 7 AM to 10 PM, seven days a week, emphasizing our commitment to catering to the scheduling needs of our clients. Additionally, we provide extensive support through a scheduling and client service team, allowing you to focus on delivering impactful therapeutic interventions without administrative distractions.

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma history and devise appropriate, individualized treatment plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to promote trauma recovery.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, develop healthy coping strategies, and foster emotional healing.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring an integrated approach to client care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, equipping clients with tools for effective distress management.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, while guiding them to relevant resources for ongoing support.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in regular case consultations and professional development activities, ensuring adherence to trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay abreast of the latest research developments and best practices in the field of trauma therapy to enhance service delivery.

As an LPC at Banyan Recovery, you will work with a motivated patient population dealing with a variety of trauma-related issues. Our clients seek compassionate and effective therapeutic support to navigate their unique challenges. Your ability to cultivate trust and provide personalized care will be essential in helping them achieve their recovery goals and improve their overall quality of life.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
• Knowledgeable in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment strategies.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications used for documentation and patient management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, paired with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations common in mental health care.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on trauma-related therapies.
• Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapy modalities to diverse client populations.
• Ability to serve as a behavioral health generalist, with a willingness to work with couples (training provided).
• Self-motivated and disciplined in completing documentation within 24 hours.
