Summary:
In summary, we are looking for a Techno/Functional Business Systems Analyst with Fidelity experience. Consistent or heavy previous Fidelity experience is absolutely required, and ideally several years of experience with IM checking application experience - Fidelity IM, Altel IM or Systematics IM. This is going to be a 50/50 technical/functional role, so candidates should have solid business analyst experience as a BA, as well as a strong technical understanding of the tool as well. In addition to the BA and technical piece, in this role the BA will be writing test strategies and acting as a test analyst as well. Individuals must be able to lead a group to ensure deliverables are met, work independently, and ideally understand project management concepts.

More detailed duties and responsibilities:

The Business Systems Analyst will take a leadership role on the Core Banking Team for a major program effort while reporting to the Core Banking Test Manager. They will be liaising with Core Banking project resources, project partners, other Technology Solutions organizations and external vendors to define and document the Core Banking testing approach and strategy for the work streams within the program.

The assignment will require ability to work remotely and independently within the Core Banking project team to complete all assigned tasks within identified timeframes. An in depth technical knowledge of Fidelity Systematics IM applications and their interdependencies is also required for this position.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake the following tasks within the team:
Assist with estimation and planning, risk assessment, contingency planning, tracking and management of progress, issues, risk and resources.
Review, analyze and evaluate detailed business and functional requirements, documentation, process flows and data models in order to define the Core Banking testing approach
Liaise with project team testing resources to conduct analysis and complete the following:
Identify all testing participants
Identify in scope testing and associated assumptions/dependencies/constraints/risks and Environment and processing needs (Inputs/Outputs, required applications, processing date overrides, etc)
Work with overall test management team to define testing schedules and processing date calendars
Create Core Banking Test Strategy & Plan documents for the project
Ensure test process, methodologies and tools are applied appropriately and that test phase entry/exit criteria are met and approvals given by the project test team
Undertake execution of test strategies and plans through active test management in all test phases
Ensure all sign offs on deliverables (overall test strategy, test plan, test cases, etc.) and that testing meets governance requirements
Lead and support test team in using test tools, defect tracking tools and other test support tools
Validate and support the test coverage planning through use of Traceability Matrices
Report the status of test planning, defects and execution activities, including regular status updates to the project team using defined quality metrics
Prioritize testing tasks with the team based on goals and risks of projects and ensure testing milestones, activities and tasks are completed as scheduled.
Ensure that assigned project releases are fully tested, stable and defect free.
Participation in project team meetings and leading working session meetings as needed

Collaborate with Core Banking, Development Vendors, other IT groups and lines of business who comprise the project team to ensure that assigned project releases are fully tested, stable and defect free
Provide advice on and develop new or replacement policies within the Core Banking Test team
