Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough preliminary interviews, documenting client cases from initial consultations through the entirety of their treatment journey.
  • Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional health using established methodologies tailored to their specific needs.
  • Develop comprehensive treatment and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings, ensuring that interventions are personalized and evidence-based.
  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques that foster growth, healing, and recovery.
  • Monitor and document the progress of clients throughout their treatment plans, adjusting methods as necessary based on ongoing assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to create integrated intervention plans that address holistic client needs.
  • Maintain continuous communication with hospital staff regarding client admissions and care transitions, ensuring that follow-up protocols are followed diligently.
  • Identify and proactively minimize behaviors that may hinder recovery, promoting a supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Support family members and primary caregivers in managing their loved ones' mental health challenges, providing education and resources as needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary clientele consists of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationship issues. Our approach focuses on understanding the specific contexts and backgrounds of our clients to tailor interventions that resonate with their individual experiences. As a mental health counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients toward sustainable mental wellness and achieving personal goals.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems, with familiarity in tools such as AVATAR.
  • Strong understanding of the complexities associated with mental health disorders, including co-occurring physical health issues and addiction disorders.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience as a mental health counselor, ideally in an outpatient setting.
  • Knowledge of best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • In-depth understanding of pharmacological treatments prescribed by other medical professionals and their impact on mental health.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, combined with outstanding interpersonal capabilities and a genuine compassionate nature.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, complemented by a sign-on bonus for new hires.
