Position Overview

Empower Well Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team, working at our Detox Center in Portland, Oregon. In this full-time position, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of children and families, particularly those facing challenges associated with substance use and early intervention services. This role is instrumental in our mission to empower marginalized populations, and it offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $80,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks, including:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of children and families to determine their needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
  • Actively participate in the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) development process, ensuring that family goals and child development milestones are integrated into service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate outcomes in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, making adjustments to intervention plans as necessary to improve the quality of care and support.
  • Provide comprehensive support to families, equipping them with the skills and strategies needed to promote their child's developmental progress in a nurturing environment.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and adhere to Natural Learning Environment Principles when developing and implementing intervention strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members to create an effective and supportive learning atmosphere.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations to uphold the health and safety standards for all individuals in the program.
  • Contribute insights and feedback to continually improve the practices and processes within our services.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on children from birth to three years of age who may have disabilities or developmental delays. Your expertise will help these young individuals learn crucial skills in areas such as physical coordination, cognitive processing, social interactions, emotional regulation, and effective communication. By providing targeted early intervention services, you can significantly impact their development and life trajectories, ultimately empowering families and communities.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Social Work.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the relevant authorities in Oregon.
  • A valid driver's license to facilitate transportation needs.
  • One year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
  • A strong commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices and adaptability to meet diverse learning styles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on collaboration and respect for team dynamics.
  • Fluency in a second language is encouraged but not mandatory.
Preferred Experience
