POSITION SUMMARY

The Meeting Production Specialist is rounded and experienced in commercial audiovisual systems with the ability to excel under limited supervision. The Meeting Production Specialist has a deep command of conference room AV systems and various, virtual collaboration platforms, accompanied by a real-world understanding of the challenges our customers experience in a hybrid meeting environment.

This ideal candidate possesses advanced hardware and software troubleshooting skills with a concierge level of customer service. They are well versed in all aspects of government-based, virtual webinar coordination with the ability to schedule and effectively communicate a clear plan, leading to a successful event. This Specialist must be able to lead projects and small teams of 1-3 technicians ensuring projects are completed timely and accurately.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As a lead, they can take on tasks without supervision and show initiative in self-assigning tasks to areas that require additional support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to offer unique and practical solutions to clients' needs while demonstrating the ability to adapt and present suitable alternatives.
  • Expert in virtual meeting technology including webinars with advanced troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with poise in a high-paced government environment. Stay up-to-date with the latest changes in core functionality and tools.
  • Deep understanding of various physical in-room conference systems including troubleshooting AV racks, teleconference-VTC codecs, Creston/AMX, and related touch panel systems.
  • Create, coordinate, and maintain deadlines from pre-meeting through post-production responsibilities.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Technical Field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must understand AV conference room system operation and signal flow.
  • Experience working in a government environment preferred.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance.
  • Audio Visual Technician certification (AVT) must be completed within 90 days of employment.
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license.
  • Certified Technical Specialist (CTS) certification is a plus.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods using a phone or other forms of business communication
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • TRAVEL
  • Local DC Metro travel (commute) is required.
