About this Role

Semafor is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Audience Coordinator to support the execution and operations of our growing events and audience business. This role sits within the Audience Development team and will support a wide range of audience operations across executive events, invitation & guest management, and audience systems.

This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role ideal for someone who enjoys precision, organization, and fast-paced execution, while also wanting exposure to audience strategy, live journalism, and high-level event operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support audience operations across Semafor's events portfolio, including executive roundtables, live journalism events, and flagship convenings
  • Prepare, proof, and manage invitations, registration pages, reminder emails, and event communications
  • Coordinate RSVP tracking, attendee management, and audience reporting across spreadsheets, CRM systems, and event platforms
  • Update event websites and registration systems with accurate programming, speaker, and attendee information
  • Work closely with design and production teams to coordinate invitations, digital assets, and event materials
  • Research and verify executive contact information using internal systems and external sources
  • Send tailored outreach and follow-up communications on behalf of booking and audience teams
  • Support show and programming operations, including guest coordination and audience logistics where needed
  • Maintain clean, accurate records and operational workflows across multiple concurrent projects
  • Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth execution across the Audience Development team
  • Assist with light audience research and curation over time, with mentorship and training from senior team members

Additional Job Details

This position is ideally based out of either our New York, NY or Washington, D.C. offices, but we are open to remote candidates outside either region.

Compensation; Flat weekly rate of $1,500 - $1,800. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
