Remote Sr. Quality Analyst (EFT)
Location: Allen, Texas (Remote)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Quality Analyst to ensure the quality of new and existing products. This role involves executing test plans and scripts to verify that software programs function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines. The position focuses on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), running test cases and plans, and performing transaction analysis. The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates in the Allen, TX area.
Key Responsibilities
  • Execute and create test plans and scripts for new products or enhancements.
  • Perform testing, submit errors to development for correction, and retest corrected issues.
  • Track defects and conduct causal analysis through to closure.
  • Review and provide feedback on requirements, design, and scope documents.
  • Interact with Subject Matter Experts, Business Analysts, and development teams to refine test requirements.
  • Coordinate and perform testing projects from initiation through delivery.
  • May create and maintain test libraries, databases, and test environments.
  • May assist with software changes for documentation updates or corrections.
  • May serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical departments.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing is required.
Technical Skills: Experience with ISO 8583 or ISO 20022 message formats is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with an EFT Transaction Simulator for ATM or merchant transactions.
  • Knowledge of ATM / Debit Routing.
  • Experience with IBM-hosted applications (zOS).
  • Experience with any style of test case automation, such as unit testing or Playwright.
  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and CI/CD pipelining.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
