Job description

Position Title: Senior Project Manager
Position Location: Remote
Reports to: Manager, Project Management Office
Job Summary:
The Senior Project Manager manages large/complex client projects from start to finish leveraging the standard PMO project management process. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with the PMO Manager and Practice leads to develop new standards, templates, and processes. In addition, they will assist the PMO Manager as a backup with team meetings and management tasks as necessary as well as assist with RFP responses and/or PMO presales activities.
The Senior Project Manager, supporting Hybrid Cloud, Data & Analytics is responsible for leading complex enterprise technology programs focused on cloud transformation, data platform modernization, analytics, AI readiness, and hybrid infrastructure initiatives. This role partners with clients, technical architects, engineers, analysts, and executive stakeholders to deliver strategic business outcomes through Agile and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
The ideal candidate has experience managing cloud, data, and analytics programs, leading cross-functional teams, and driving successful implementations across Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Data & AI platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.
Essential Functions:
โ€ข Lead end-to-end delivery of hybrid cloud, data modernization, analytics, AI, and digital transformation initiatives.
โ€ข Expert on PMO tools and processes and can teach others as needed.
โ€ข Can assist with development of RFP responses related to showing PMO/project management expertise and value.
โ€ข Strong understanding of multiple technology areas and how they all integrate or fit together.
โ€ข Ability to manage multiple projects as part of a larger program, working with interdependencies, multiple technologies, and stakeholders.
โ€ข Impacts the PMO team's strategy in terms of process and project management team capabilities.
โ€ข Strong understanding of capabilities within the assigned practice focus area and other practice areas with the ability to pull in other practices large/complex customer project opportunities.
โ€ข Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:

โ€ข Basic Technical knowledge in the areas of Cloud, IT Infrastructure, Analytics, Cybersecurity, Application Development, migration and modernization projects.
โ€ข Good understanding of common technical terminology and implementation methods for the aligned technology practice area.

Education and Experience:
โ€ข 10+ years related experience required project and program management experience within technology consulting, professional services, or enterprise IT environments.
โ€ข 5+ years leading Agile software, cloud, data, analytics, or digital transformation initiatives.
โ€ข Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise implementations exceeding $500K in project value.
โ€ข Bachelor's degree (preferred)

โ€ข PgMP or equivalent (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
โ€ข Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
