Associate Attorney (NIV)ย 

Erickson Immigration Groupย has a career opportunity for an experiencedย Associate Attorney (NIV)ย to join our expanding team in a fully remote capacity. EIG offers a competitive salary, excellent employee benefits, and ample opportunity for professional growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of employment-based non-immigrant visas, including (but not limited to) H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, O-1, and associated dependent filings.
  • Effectively manage client relationships and supervise a team of paralegals for high-volume clients.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research to support client requests and projects.
  • Explain sophisticated immigration concepts and present strategic solutions for clients.
  • Draft and prepare letters and legal documents, typically based on established precedents.
  • Assess and evaluate clientโ€™s immigrant visa eligibility.
  • Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
  • Utilize web-based immigration case management systems and database continuously and accurately.

Qualification Requirements:

  • 3+ years of business immigration attorney work experience
  • U.S. Juris Doctor degree (J.D.)
  • Member of a state bar and in good standing with the associated state bar association
  • Ability to manage complex case strategies with company contacts and clients
  • Understanding of nuanced and complex immigration law concepts.
  • Ability to review Paralegal work product carefully and promptly
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills, as appropriate for the needs of the audience (clients, governmental agencies, internal and external resources)
  • Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to problems
  • Strong organizational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to generate work product with considerable accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer serviceย 
  • Outstanding case/project management skills
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Accepts and adapts to feedback regarding work performanceย 
  • Fluency of the English language in both written and verbal forms
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; and Case Management Systems โ€“ Salesforce (Litify), VisaTrax/INS Zoom and/or other Document Management Systems. ย
