Architectural Construction Administration PM

This position serves as the firm's on-site representative during construction and is responsible for managing the architectural aspects of projects through the construction phase. This role coordinates with clients, consultants, contractors, government agencies, and internal staff to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, contracts, and applicable codes.

Qualifications: 

  • Construction administration expertise
  • Multifamily/mixed-use experience
  • Previous experience with field reports, reviewing submittals and answering RFI's
  • Architectural drawings and specifications
  • Construction contracts
  • Building codes and regulatory requirements
  • FHA, ADA, TCAC, and accessibility requirements
  • Client and contractor relationship management

Responsibilities: 

  • Construction Administration
    • Manage bidding, construction-phase activities, and project meetings.
    • Review and process RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, change orders, extra services, and pay applications.
    • Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress for compliance with project documents.
    • Prepare punch lists, Certificates of Substantial Completion, and closeout documentation, including as-built drawings.
  • Project & Team Management
    • Coordinate project staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation with leadership.
    • Support hiring, performance management, and team development initiatives.
    • Contribute to firm standards, process improvements, and operational initiatives.
  • Financial Management
    • Assist with project budgeting, financial performance tracking, and team utilization.
    • Identify opportunities for additional services and support billing, invoicing, and collections.
