SALARY RANGE: $105,150.00 - $144,537.50

GROWMARK is an agricultural cooperative serving almost 400,000 customers across North America, providing agronomy, energy, facility engineering and construction, and logistics products and services, as well as grain marketing and risk management services. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with branded FS cooperatives and GMK retail companies within the refined and renewable fuels, propane, and proprietary products markets. This includes promoting credit card processing, fuel additives, energy-related equipment, DEF, lubricants, and other related products and services. The role contributes to long-term strategic planning and growth within our member territory and supports the overall energy strategy at Growmark and provides leadership, guidance, and positive direction to internal team members across the Growmark energy team.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Achieve sales and income targets by building strong customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Create demand for products and services by developing expertise and sharing strategic business concepts with prospects and customers.

Develop and implement effective marketing strategies for the designated sales territory to overall member earned business.

Provide consultative solutions tailored to business opportunities and customer needs.

Support Growmark LLC by identifying and pursuing new partnership opportunities within the territory.

Identify and execute arbitrage opportunities to optimize margins, collaborating with supply and pricing teams to help implement buying strategies.

Review and present information internally to facilitate timely decisions that help achieve sales goals, service agreements goals, and other divisional strategic objectives.

Utilize risk management programs to enhance sales and expand Growmark’s energy offerings.

Communicate customer feedback to internal teams including FS sales and marketing team to improve responsiveness.

Research and analyze competitors, providing timely market intelligence to internal supply and pricing teams.

Act as a liaison for changes across internal and external departments.

Provide training for both internal and external customers.

Ensure high levels of customer service and maintain exceptional communication standards across business units.

Identify areas for market growth based on demand and help project a professional image of Growmark as a reliable supplier.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Maintain a comprehensive database of customers and prospects, contributing daily to CRM data.

Keep accurate records of customer volumes and sales call summaries.

Stay current on marketing trends and technical knowledge relevant to the retail energy sector.

Represent Growmark at trade shows and professional meetings.

Adhere to Growmark’s policies and procedures.

Participate in sales training courses, customer events, and other duties as assigned.

Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field and/or 5-10 years or more of petroleum industry experience.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.

Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.

Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with computers, related technology, and software.

Must have ability to work and travel independently and overnight as needed.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
