We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in Fort Myers. This role offers a mostly remote schedule, but candidates must reside locally and be available to come into the office as needed.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end close
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and supporting schedules
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong understanding of general ledger and month-end close
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with accounting software systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a mostly remote environment

• Salary range of $60K-$70K depending on experience
