Job description

Overview Assyrian Remote Interpreter role at Certified Languages International (CLI) is a telephonic, work-from-home contract position for freelance interpreters. CLI has operated since 1996 and serves thousands of organizations, helping them communicate with a growing demographic of Limited English Proficient (LEP) speakers. Responsibilities Provide 100% over-the-phone interpretation.

Serve a high volume of calls; many are medical in nature. CLI serves industries including insurance, financial services, utilities, customer service and state courts. Work from home as an independent contractor; set your own schedule.

Clients require you to log on and off using the online portal or your landline telephone. Qualifications Must be legally eligible to work in the United States (SSN or EIN and Photo ID) and reside in the United States. Interpreting experience is preferred.

Not currently recruiting interpreters in New York or California. Compensation and Schedule Payment is per minute; interpreters are paid for every minute spent on the phone interpreting. Payments are issued twice a month via direct deposit.
