About the role 

The Director of Analytics is a senior analytics and marketing science leader responsible for defining and advancing performance measurement strategy across client engagements. You will own the end-to-end performance ecosystem-connecting data, media, technology, and commercial outcomes to deliver a unified and business-driven performance narrative.  

You bring deep healthcare marketing expertise and technical command of analytics strategy, statistical modeling, data engineering concepts, visualization, experimentation, and performance measurement across online and offline channels. You partner with Strategy, Media, Creative, Technology, and Client Services to apply advanced analytics to measure marketing effectiveness, and enterprise value.  

You will balance strategic leadership with technical credibility, operational oversight, and team development.  

Here's what you'll do: 

Strategic Leadership & Client Partnership 

  • Define and lead analytics strategy across accounts, ensuring understanding of client goals and commercial priorities.  
  • Serve as senior analytics lead and trusted advisor to clients, influencing investment decisions through data-driven insight.  
  • Translate business objectives into structured measurement frameworks with clear KPIs across paid, owned, and earned channels 
  •  Lead analytics strategy in new business pitches and RFPs 
  • Present performance insights to senior client partners, authority, and strategic perspective in clear, commercially applicable narratives. 
  • Craft compelling storylines that connect analytics outcomes to revenue growth, market share impact, and competitive advantage.  

Performance Measurement & Marketing Science  

  • Develop and oversee advanced measurement frameworks across integrated campaigns, including digital, CRM, media, and offline programs.  
  • Establish standardized methodologies, baseline metrics, and taxonomies. Implement marketing mix modeling (MMM), multi-touch attribution (MTA), incrementality testing, uplift modeling, and geo-based experimentation.  
  • Ensure rigorous QA processes, documentation standards, and governance protocols across analytics implementations.  

Data & Technology  

  • Guide integration of media platforms, CRM systems, CDPs, ad servers, and third-party healthcare datasets into unified analytics environments.  
  • Familiarity/ with Use SQL and Python and/or R to interrogate complex datasets and validate modeling approaches.  
  • Advance AI and machine learning capabilities within the analytics practice in partnership with Digital and Technology leadership.  

Team Leadership & Capability Building  

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of analysts and managers, encouraging both technical carefulness and consultative thinking.  
  • Establish best practices, and scalable frameworks to improve the analytics discipline across the organization.  
  • Promote a culture of curiosity, accountability, and progress.  

Market & Industry Leadership  

  • Monitor latest analytics tools, modeling techniques, AI applications, and marketing technologies.  
  • Ensure Evoke remains at the forefront of healthcare marketing science and performance measurement development.  

About you 

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, marketing science, or performance measurement, including agency and healthcare industry exposure. 
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing analytics teams (5+ direct/indirect reports preferred). 
  • Deep commercial experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device marketing. 
  • Understanding of patient and healthcare provider behavior and healthcare data ecosystems. 
  • Experience working with healthcare and clinical data providers (e.g.,Crossix, Komodo, IQVIA, or comparable).
  • Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of Python and/or R for statistical analysis and modeling.  
  • Proficiency with digital analytics platforms (e.g., GA4, Adobe Analytics) and tagging frameworks (e.g., GTM, server-side tracking).
