SQL performance tuning, SSIS, Data Warehousing, and production support for enterprise analytics environments. The ideal candidate should have a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues while ensuring platform stability, reliability, and performance.

Experience with Health Catalyst is highly desirable; however, I am also open to candidates who demonstrate a strong aptitude and willingness to learn and support the platform.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures that platforms remain stable, efficient, and trusted, enabling users to run complex queries, generate insights, and make data driven decisions without disrupting production systems.
  • Manages and monitors enterprise data workloads, including long running queries and system resource usage.
  • Ensures data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across shared databases and analytical environments.
  • Maintains an ongoing configuration design and documentation for the databases.
  • Maintains database security and platform administration.
  • Monitors and maintains optimal database performance.
  • Monitors table disk utilization and database fragmentation on a periodic basis.
  • Tracks usage by individual users and applications to proactively address risks and bottlenecks.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data extracts.
  • Translates complex business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
  • Responsible for day-to-day Data and Application Administration.
  • Background in healthcare, finance, or other data intensive domains.
  • Solves complex technical problems
