Job description

At Front Row, we partner with leading brands to accelerate their ecommerce growth. We leverage our capabilities and proprietary technology to design, market, distribute and accelerate brands on a global scale. We're continually cultivating functional areas of expertise and retaining the highest caliber of talent - while sharing knowledge and data, creating efficiencies, and looking at every aspect of our client's business from a 360 perspective. We work effectively to give every client the hands-on support, niche knowledge, and first-access they need to win in the world's most competitive commerce markets and make each of our six capabilities the first to act on the next big things.
We live for the exchange of energy between brands and audiences, you should too, and we've made it our mission to expand every brand's market share and heart share. Because we believe every transaction has the potential to be transformational. We leverage data-driven insights from Catapult, our proprietary technology, and our deep understanding of marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart.com, TikTok Shop, to craft strategies unique to each brand we work with while protecting their pricing and channel strategies at every lifecycle stage and in any global market.
As part of Front Row's Marketplace Optimization team, you will turn on-platform data and algorithmic signals into clear strategies that drive organic growth for leading brands across beauty, wellness, and CPG. We analyze how the Amazon algorithm interprets shopper behavior, search demand, and competitive dynamics to determine how brands should be positioned, how products should be written, and where they should win on the digital shelf. Through data-driven listing copywriting and ongoing measurement of organic rankings, sessions, and conversion, we connect strategy to performance. Partnering closely with our clients, we apply deep marketplace and algorithm expertise to build optimized listings that improve discoverability, relevance, and sustained business growth.
Role Overview:
Front Row is looking for a Marketplace Optimisation Director to lead the charge in elevating brand visibility and performance across Amazon in the beauty, wellness and CPG categories. This role is ideal for a strategic operator who thrives at the intersection of retail media, content optimization, and AI-driven innovation and will require a deep SEO expertise with strategic project management and a forward-thinking approach to AI-powered search and content workflows. You'll own the strategy and execution of organic optimization for Amazon, driving discoverability and conversion through best-in-class SEO tactics and data-led iteration. Simultaneously, you'll lead the integration of generative AI tools like ChatGPT into content, reporting, and operational workflows to improve efficiency, scale, and strategic insight.
Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead Amazon organic optimization strategy to drive visibility, rankings, and conversions, grounded in deep knowledge of the Amazon algorithm.
  • Develop high-quality, SEO-optimized listing copy that aligns with brand voice, content guidelines, compliance requirements, and performance insights
  • Analyze search behavior, competitive activity, and organic performance to identify growth opportunities, optimization gaps, and algorithm-driven improvements.
  • Leverage Generative AI tools to scale content creation, audits, keyword strategy, and reporting, while building standardized, efficient workflows for the team.
  • Partner cross-functionally and act as a thought leader on marketplace optimization and AI-driven process innovation, ensuring strategy aligns with broader eCommerce goals.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Amazon strategy, SEO, or eCommerce strategy, ideally within beauty, wellness, or consumer goods
  • Deep understanding of Amazon SEO, including keyword hierarchy, CTR and conversion levers, and competitive intelligence
  • Proficiency with Seller Central and analytics platforms such as Helium10, DataDive, or similar tools
  • Experience mentoring or managing direct reports, with a collaborative and empowering leadership style

Benefits
  • Competitive insurance plan
  • 20 days PTO
  • Summer Fridays
  • Health and wellness benefits such as Class Pass memberships
  • Education stipend
  • Flexi hours and hybrid working
