Branches of Growth Psychotherapy LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LPCC, LMFT) to join our remote team. • Provide individualized counseling sessions to clients using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans and adapt them based on each client’s specific needs and progress, which may include exploring moderation vs. abstinence goals.
• Lead community support integration by informing clients about relevant resources such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), SMART Recovery, or Moderation Management.
• Facilitate therapy sessions through our telehealth platform, ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients to engage in their recovery.
• Participate in optional “Expert Insights” collaborations with our Content Manager to provide valuable resources for the recovery community.
• Engage in monthly peer group meetings to share insights, enhance collaboration, and improve clinical practices.
• Stay updated with Continuing Education Units (CEU) as the cost is covered by the organization.
• Streamline your practice by utilizing our team for administrative tasks, including billing and scheduling, enabling you to dedicate more time to patient interaction.

Your primary focus will be clients seeking support in improving their relationship with alcohol. This diverse group may include individuals looking for moderation strategies or those seeking abstinence-based pathways. You will engage with clients from various backgrounds, requiring a thoughtful approach to address their unique experiences, histories, and challenges in the context of their recovery journeys.

• Current LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC licensure in the state of California.
• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required, while a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrable training and experience in therapeutic methodologies such as Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and Harm Reduction Models.
• Strong clinical engagement skills, along with the ability to empathize with clients’ experiences and provide relevant community support referrals.

While a strong clinical foundation is essential, experience working specifically within the realm of alcohol use disorders or behavioral health is highly valued. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling best practices will enhance your efficacy in this role, as will exposure to community recovery initiatives.
