The following position is to join our RTX PST (Process & System Transformation) Team as a Product Owner & Data Engineering Lead for Supply Chain & Manufacturing.

What You Will Do

Technical Product Leadership

  • Design domain-aware data products aligned to the business process hierarchy (items/BOMs, routings, work orders, inventory movements, quality events, logistics flows).

  • Lead data engineering and integrations across ERP, MES, PLM with robust ELT, data quality, lineage, and governance.

  • Develop analytics solutions including inventory optimization, backlog health, margin insights, scrap reduction, and various products.

  • Advance capabilities from data modeling, reports and dashboards to GenBI while ensuring security and compliance.

Product Management & Delivery

  • Develop and communicate product roadmaps from reporting to AI-driven analytics.

  • Own the product backlog, driving sprint planning, prioritization, and iterative delivery.

  • Act as liaison between supply-chain/manufacturing stakeholders and technical teams.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.

  • 15+ years of experience in product /data ownership in supply chain, manufacturing or operations and SAP ERP, S/4 HANA, BW, and ERP implementation.

  • 10+ years of experience with query tuning handling extremely large data sets.

  • 5+ years of experience designing / building integrations for real-time data flow and securing export control data.

  • Hands-on delivery across inventory, backlog, margins, and other manufacturing domains.

  • Experience with manufacturing and supply chain data including BOMs, routings, work orders, inventory transactions, quality records, and logistics events.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with MES, ERP, and planning tools.

  • Familiarity with SCOR model.

  • Experience implementing row level and column level security.

  • Experience in agile methodologies, backlog ownership, and spring planning.

  • Experience with Snowflake/Databricks data engineering.

  • Knowledge of Visualization platforms such as SAC and Power BI.

  • Knowledge of AI, advanced analytics, and security / compliance requirements.

This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
