We have an exciting opportunity to join our Global Trade team as a Jurisdiction & Classification Engineer II who will complete jurisdiction and classification assessments (JCA) for hardware, technical information, and software/firmware (products) for company exports and imports. The position will report to the JCA Engineering within the Technology Management (TM) Center of Excellence (COE) in Global Trade. This position will be expected to complete export product classifications in accordance with Raytheon policies/procedures based on the U.S. government (USG) regulations (ITAR and EAR) while adhering to Raytheon's values and principles. What You Will Do * Be a key contributor to the JC Engineering team by conducting comprehensive technical assessments related to the export or import controls to ensure compliance with government regulations in accordance with Raytheon policy and guidelines.
* Provide guidance and influence others on U.S Export Controls - including policies, procedures, and classifications.
* Work with minimal oversight from manager and assist with difficult and complex Export Classifications.
* Support Global Trade (GT) organization by responding to JCA questions and information provided by USG agencies including Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), Defense Technology Security Administration (DTSA), Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS).
* Interface with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines (e.g., Global Trade), and suppliers to arrive at the correct and compliant export classification.
* Contributes in achieving individual and to the greater teams' Organizational goals.
* Assists bids, financial planning, resource planning, or Earned Value (EV) metrics.
* Be present at all team meetings, program review (e.g., Jurisdiction Commodity and Classification Board (JCCB)), and teleconferences as required.
* Work with other JC COE teammates to enhance continuous learning, regulatory knowledge, and improved best practices within the JC COE.
* Complete all required trainings (e.g., JCA recertification, Ethics modules, and corporate trainings) on time each year. What You Will Learn * Understanding the complexities of the U.S. export regulations and how to navigate and apply them to Raytheon commodities.
* Best practices for export classification documentation and international trade procedures.
* Cross-functional collaboration in a large Global Trade organization. Qualifications You Must Have * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
* Current or prior experience in EXIM / JCA or closely related experience such as Design Engineering, Product Management, and /or Configuration Management Qualifications We Prefer * Experience with JCA Tools (e.g., OCR, xClass) and / or CommonPDM (cPDM) / Windchill

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
