Tyler Munis Benefits Consultant – Contract (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced Tyler Munis Consultant to support a recent HR/Payroll go-live, with a primary focus on benefits administration and post-implementation stabilization. This is a fully remote engagement with an initial duration of 3+ months.


This role will play a key part in optimizing system functionality, supporting benefits processes, and ensuring a smooth transition following implementation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide post-go-live support for Tyler Munis HR/Payroll with a focus on benefits functionality
  • Configure and manage benefits campaigns, including setup and ongoing administration
  • Support open enrollment configuration, testing, and execution
  • Administer and troubleshoot FMLA processes, workflows, and system setup
  • Evaluate current benefits configuration, identify gaps, and recommend improvements
  • Partner with HR, payroll, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve system adoption
  • Assist with stabilization and optimization of Tyler Munis functionality post-implementation
  • Support migration, archival, or reconciliation of historical HR/payroll data from Lawson (secondary focus)
  • Ensure legacy data is accessible, accurate, and aligned with operational needs
  • Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and end-user support as needed
