This full-time role is conducted in a remote setting, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule from the comfort of your home while still engaging effectively with clients and your multi-disciplinary team. • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs and determine appropriate therapeutic interventions while applying evidence-based practices.
• Engage in crisis intervention and support, developing tailored crisis response plans that address immediate client needs.
• Complete thorough documentation and statistical reporting in compliance with agency standards, ensuring accurate records of client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Collaborate closely with the Department of Correction to facilitate access to at-risk patients, providing crucial support that aligns with their treatment goals.
• Lead group therapy sessions focused on mental health recovery, utilizing therapeutic modalities that promote engagement and support.
• Participate in mental health and medical rounds, case conferences, and treatment planning sessions to enhance patient care coordination.
• Deliver clinical supervision and mentorship to social work interns and student volunteers, fostering their development in the field of mental health.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions relevant to mental health counseling.
• Perform other duties as directed by clinical leadership, contributing to service delivery excellence.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base representing various age groups and backgrounds. Your ability to adapt treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of individuals and families is essential. You will address a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and overall emotional well-being, providing clients with a path toward recovery and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Valid State license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct psychological testing and crisis intervention is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to client care and advocacy.

• Prior experience working within an outpatient mental health setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to maintain patient information and documentation.
• Experience leading group therapy sessions and providing clinical supervision is advantageous.
