Job Description:
  • We are seeking a 3D environment AR/VR UX Designer with strong Figma proficiency and a passion for 3D environments, mapping, and emerging AR/VR technologies. In this role, you will define and execute the visual styling for landmarks across 2D, 2.5D, and 3D configurations-helping shape the look and feel of the next generation of immersive map experiences.
    This is a highly visual, production-oriented design role focused on creating polished, executive-ready mockups and concept illustrations that represent the future of navigation and spatial visualization.

  • Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement final visual styling for landmarks in 2D, 2.5D, and 3D environments across multiple device and display configurations.
    • Create high-fidelity mockups, comps, and illustrations in Figma, reflecting potential features and product experiences.
    • Collaborate with UX designers, 3D artists, and product stakeholders to ensure design quality, realism, and visual consistency.
    • Generate 3D map visualizations for executive presentations, design reviews, and concept explorations.
    • Integrate insights from mapping, navigation, and AR/VR systems (e.g., Oculus, Meta Quest, Vision Pro, Magic Leap, HoloLens, Vive) to inform visual and spatial design choices.
    • Work within established brand and UI systems while contributing new styles and treatments for future features.
    • Apply an understanding of lighting, scale, and perspective to create visually compelling and contextually accurate map representations.

    Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience in visual design, 3D design, or product visualization.
    • Proven proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and pixel-perfect execution.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing high-fidelity visual mockups, ideally within mapping, navigation, AR/VR, or 3D interfaces.
    • Experience producing production-ready visual comps for digital environments.
    • Familiarity with AR/VR product ecosystems such as Meta Quest, HoloLens, Apple Vision Pro, Magic Leap, HTC Vive, or PlayStation VR.
    • Background in cartography, GIS visualization, or navigation UI design.
    • Understanding of 3D modeling principles, spatial relationships, or rendering pipelines.
    • Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams in design, engineering, and product management.
