What is a Remote 340B Audit?

A Remote 340B Audit is the process of reviewing and evaluating a healthcare organization's compliance with the 340B Drug Pricing Program regulations, conducted virtually rather than onsite. During a remote audit, auditors access records, policies, and data electronically to ensure the organization is following all 340B requirements, such as eligibility, purchasing, and dispensing of discounted drugs. This helps identify areas of non-compliance, prevent penalties, and ensure that savings from the 340B program are being used appropriately. Remote audits can be more efficient and less disruptive than traditional in-person audits.
