As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working alongside a team of dedicated engineers building the future of Remedy Meds. You will work cross-functionally with Product and Design teams and other internal and external stakeholders.

  • The base pay range for this position is $152,000 – $209,000 per year*

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. An annual incentive plan and stock options may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.

What You Get to Do Every Day

  • Lead the development of large features and champion quarterly projects that span multiple teams and problem sets
  • Increase quality of Remedy Meds' code base by writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Enforce best practices for code reviews as well as quality standards across your team
  • Design and iterate on complex designs and system improvements to enhance robustness, reusability, and security within our code base
  • Be a trusted leader within on-call rotation and push key items for post-mortems in a timely manner
  • Handle vaguely scoped projects and help guide other engineers through the process for a successful delivery
  • Mentor and guide less senior engineers through complex problems as well as helping navigate different stakeholders
  • Act as a facilitator for scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and other team meetings to continually push and improve team efficiencies

What You Bring to the Role

  • Deep domain knowledge of the code base, design, architecture, and business goals of engineering related to business outcomes and goals for the company
  • Ability to write clean, concise code while helping to improve our existing code base and documentation
  • Strong acumen for finding problems and acting on them independently in a constantly evolving environment
  • Strong desire to improve our engineering culture, help new hires, and mentor other engineers to create a positive team atmosphere
  • Willingness to work through ambiguity and help others around you navigate the same challenges
  • Strong communication skills within your team as well as with stakeholders
  • Ability to seek and act on feedback from peers and leaders
  • Willingness to collaborate effectively within your team and with internal and external stakeholders to achieve a common goal
