Patriot Abatements is a professional environmental abatement and mold remediation company specializing in asbestos, mold, and other regulated material remediation for residential and commercial properties. We operate in fast-paced, field-driven environments with a strong emphasis on safety, regulatory compliance, quality execution, and customer satisfaction.


Position Summary

The Abatement & Mold Remediation Manager is responsible for managing all abatement and mold remediation projects from initial lead intake through final invoicing and job closeout. This role is hands-on and field-driven, requiring active participation in inspections, scope development, job execution, and team supervision. The Manager is accountable for project performance, regulatory compliance, safety, quality control, financial accuracy, and customer satisfaction across all assigned projects.

This position requires a valid TDLR-issued Mold Remediation Contractor (MRC) license and demonstrated experience in both mold remediation and asbestos abatement operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage abatement and mold remediation projects from lead response through final billing and closeout
  • Actively respond to and follow up on incoming leads related to abatement and mold remediation services
  • Inspect residential and commercial properties to assess conditions and determine appropriate remediation strategies
  • Develop detailed scopes of work in compliance with regulatory and insurance requirements
  • Successfully close abatement and mold remediation jobs and oversee project execution
  • Perform and supervise on-site abatement, mold remediation, and demolition activities as needed
  • Ensure proper containment, engineering controls, PPE usage, and safety protocols are followed at all times
  • Maintain full compliance with OSHA, EPA, TDLR, and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Supervise, train, and lead abatement and remediation technicians and supervisors
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers, insurance adjusters, industrial hygienists, and third-party consultants
  • Ensure accurate documentation, daily logs, photos, reports, and regulatory records are completed and maintained
  • Prepare and review job documentation, invoicing, and billing in accordance with insurance and regulatory standards
  • Conduct jobsite inspections and quality control checks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage equipment, materials, and inventory related to abatement and remediation operations
  • Assist with cost control, job profitability, and operational reporting
  • Respond to emergency, after-hours, or time-sensitive situations as required
Qualifications
  • Valid TDLR-issued Mold Remediation Contractor (MRC) license required
  • Proven experience in mold remediation and asbestos abatement operations
  • 3–5 years of experience in abatement, remediation, or related construction operations
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience in field-based environments
  • Strong working knowledge of containment methods, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to read and interpret scopes of work, protocols, safety plans, and regulatory documentation
  • Comfortable performing physical labor and working in demanding jobsite conditions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer-facing skills
  • Valid driver’s license
