BEPC is actively looking for Project Manager, in Hillsboro, OR area!

W2 Contract – 7 months with possible extensions!

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance

Pay Rate: $50.00 - $55.00/hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Work Model: 100% Onsite in Hillsboro, OR. Local candidates only OR within reasonable commuting distance. No relocation candidates will be considered.

Summary of the Role:


BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our client’s site in Hillsboro, OR. This role will support the planning and execution of projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring completion while adhering to budget, scope, and schedule requirements.


This position supports Drug Product manufacturing operations and strategic site initiatives related to reliable supply, optimization of existing assets and processes, and implementation of new capabilities and technologies. The Project Manager will enable delivery of key site portfolio projects and programs, ensure accurate project scoping, manage project execution, monitor project health, and support portfolio prioritization and dependency management.


The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success, support best practices in project management, and lead strategic activities including assessments, meetings, workshops, deliverable development, and team guidance. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills in a fast-paced industrial environment.



Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and execution of projects from initiation through delivery.
  • Organize cross-functional activities while ensuring adherence to budget, scope, and schedule requirements.
  • Serve as an internal project consultant for evaluating business needs and vendor requests for proposals.
  • Support projects related to reliable supply, process optimization, and implementation of new capabilities and technologies.
  • Enable delivery of key site portfolio projects and programs.
  • Ensure accurate project scoping to identify required resources, timelines, and budgets.
  • Manage projects to maintain approved scope, schedule, and budget while achieving intended business benefits.
  • Continuously assess project health and proactively address risks, priorities, and dependencies within the portfolio.
  • Support balance and alignment of portfolio priorities and project dependencies.
  • Adhere to and support development of project management best practices and guidance.
  • Support planning and execution of a broad range of business projects, including:
  • CAPEX projects
  • Sustainability initiatives
  • Refurbishment projects
  • Innovation projects
  • Collaborate with site functional teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional strategic activities including:
  • Assessments
  • Meetings
  • Workshops
  • Deliverable development
  • Team guidance and direction
  • Project support activities
  • Utilize strong communication, team building, agility, and resilience skills within a fast-paced industrial setting.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in: Engineering (Automation, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Facilities, Mechanical, Process, or Industrial), Related Science field, Supply Chain Management, Related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in project and portfolio management and execution.
  • Relevant GMP experience.
  • Experience scoping, planning, and leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Experience managing projects of varying complexity, including technical and business-focused initiatives.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced or graduate degree.
  • Project Management certification (PMI or equivalent).
  • Exceptional influencing, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, collaboration, and strategic consulting skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental engineering principles across multiple disciplines.
  • Understanding of:
  • Project risks
  • Project integration implications
  • Facility operational needs
  • End-user requirements
  • Functional organization development
  • Experience in an FDA-regulated industry, hospital environment, or clean room environment.
  • GMP and/or controlled environment experience.
