Workify Staffing is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a well-established steel and commercial construction company in Medford, OR. This is a leadership-level role responsible for managing complex construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Relocation is available for the right candidate, and a relocation package may be included depending on experience and qualifications.


Position Overview

The Project Manager leads the overall success of assigned construction projects, overseeing all phases including scheduling, budgeting, design coordination, permitting, and execution. This role works closely with trade partners, field operations, architects, and clients to ensure alignment with company standards and client expectations.

As the primary point of contact for stakeholders, the Project Manager is responsible for resolving conflicts, managing priorities, and driving successful project delivery across multiple active jobs.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with leadership and stakeholders
  • Manage contracts, negotiate terms with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensure compliance with all agreements
  • Supervise and coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning roles and providing mentorship and performance feedback
  • Forecast project costs and produce production and progress reports to support continuous improvement
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns
  • Recognize change conditions and communicate impacts to appropriate parties
  • Coordinate permitting, regulatory compliance, and inspections
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide clear progress reporting to clients and executives
  • Manage project resources including labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors
  • Ensure accurate cost coding for time, materials, equipment, and project expenses
  • Maintain complete project documentation including as-builts, RFIs, and submittal logs
  • Enforce quality control and safety standards throughout all project phases
  • Oversee project closeout, warranty processes, and lessons learned documentation
  • Promote company mission, vision, and values through leadership and team development

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of commercial construction management experience
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Advanced proficiency in project management software
  • Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CCM, or related certifications
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Working Conditions
  • Split time between office environment and active construction sites
  • Exposure to varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and wind
  • Frequent interaction with contractors, clients, engineers, and stakeholders
  • Required adherence to strict safety standards and PPE usage on job sites
