Pratt & Whitney is seeking a highly motivated Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead to drive technical execution for the critical F135 Fan Rotors IPT. Based within our Compression Systems Engineering (CSE) organization, you will take part-level ownership of rotating parts within the Fan module. In this high-visibility role, you will spearhead Component IPT (CIPT) task planning, manage key supplier and customer interfaces, and leverage your full-lifecycle engineering experience-from initial design through field support-to deliver next-generation military propulsion milestones.

What You Will Do:

  • Accountable, part-level ownership on behalf of the CIPT, ensuring timely communication, proactive risk management, and consistent execution of all assigned program requirements.
  • Lead the IPT in identifying, managing, and closing key technical risks and issues, ensuring each item has a defined action plan, measurable progress, and closure within agreed timelines.
  • Guide the IPT through successful technical and program reviews by setting clear preparation milestones, validating technical content, and ensuring all deliverables meet program standards.
  • Manage IPT budgets and schedules by monitoring performance against established baselines, addressing variances promptly, and ensuring ontime and onbudget delivery of commitments.
  • Drive IPT technical and business metrics by establishing measurable targets, tracking performance, and implementing corrective actions to ensure alignment with program goals.
  • Represent the IPT in interactions and presentations with Customers, the SIPT, IPMT, and Senior Leadership, delivering concise, accurate, and timely technical and program updates.
  • Provide technical support for validation engine builds and engine test activities, ensuring required tasks are completed accurately, safely, and within scheduled test windows.
  • Travel Requirement: ~10%

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience, OR
  • Advanced degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience within the Manufacturing, Military, Logistics, Aerospace, or Aviation industries.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Aerospace or Turbofan Engine industry experience.
  • Basic understanding of Pratt & Whitney's Leadership Operating Model (LOM) or similar.

  • Control Account Manager (CAM) Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams in strategic projects and initiatives.

Compression Systems Engineering (CSE)

Compression Systems Engineering is responsible for the design, development, and in service support of all fans low-pressure and high-pressure compressors for commercial and military engine models. CSE is responsible for the identification and maturation of new technologies for these products.

Technical disciplines in CSE include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, and Product Definition.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
