To prepare, it’s helpful to research the employer’s onboarding process, seek out orientation sessions, and connect with colleagues for support. Many employers offering relocation packages also provide assistance with finding housing and adjusting to the local area, so it’s important to communicate openly with your HR contact about any questions or concerns. Proactively planning and utilizing available resources can make the transition much smoother.
