Job description

OVERVIEW

REAL-R is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Project Coordinator to provide reliable, timely, and professional support to the Calgary Team, assisting with the day to day project coordination activities. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the successful candidate will require the independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse workload.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support project executives on multiple projects and assignments
• Proactively coordinate project related issues on accounts or assignments
• Develop scope and schedule for assigned projects
• Conduct and document all weekly project meetings
• Coordinate and track all Vendor Request For Proposals (“RFPs”)
• Maintain accurate and consistent files and documentation
• Coordinate the activities of sub-contractors and the relocation of technical functions
• Interact and negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
• Prepare/update project status reports, update tracking reports, and maintain files for due diligence
• Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all technology as required for assigned projects
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice
• Support and assist in the COR Safety program ensuring all documents are filled in correctly and we are meeting our requirements to maintain our COR Certification
• Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities that may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
• Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or Project Management
• 2+ years of relevant work experience, or combination of relevant work experience and education
• Commercial real estate, architectural or construction industry experience is an asset
• Familiarity with architectural drawings and furniture, and space planning concepts is an asset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook)
• Understanding of technical requirements for business relocation
• Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with internal and external Stakeholders
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment
• May require on-call activity after regular office hours
• Operates with a sense of urgency, quickly responding to Stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
