Position: SI Quality Manager
Supervisor: Senior Director, Operations
Department: Quality
Location: Houston or relocation as required

Main functions
•    Plans, develops, and operates the quality organization, and makes proposals for various organizational changes.
•    Ensures the implementation of quality procedures and methods specified by the customer.
•    Ensures the measurement, reporting, and fulfillment of quality goals specified by the customer(s) and the fulfillment of customer requirements.
•    Ensures the smooth operation of quality areas and tools related to production.
•    Leads the junior managers of the business unit belonging to his organization, engineers, and colleagues working in the SQA, Material Review Board (MRB), Incoming Quality (IQA), and OBA areas.
•    Actively cooperates with fellow departments.
•    Participates in the implementation of company-level projects.
•    Continuously develops tools and processes related to the quality area.
•    Represents the QA area in various professional forums and meetings of Foxconn.
•    Participates in daily operations, intervening if necessary.
•    Evaluates and develops subordinates.
•    Actively communicates with key stakeholders (E.g., Global Quality, MSFT representatives, SI Management Team)
•    Leads and actively communicates escalated quality incidents.
Duties and Responsibilities
Environmental Protection: 
As a regional manager, you are responsible for understanding and minimizing the environmental risks of your activities in your area, for understanding and following/enforcing the relevant processes and instructions of the ISO 14001 system, and for immediately reporting and participating in the investigation of any damage. You will work with the environmental engineer on these tasks.
Occupational and fire safety:
As a regional manager, you are responsible for knowing the occupational and fire safety risks of the activities carried out in your area, for their possible reduction, and for compliance with/enforcement of the relevant instructions of the Occupational Safety and Health Regulations and the Fire Protection Regulations. During these tasks, you cooperate with the occupational and fire safety specialist.
