Home Health Occupational Therapist (OTR)

On The Road Position | Pediatric Home Health

Compensation

$60-$70/hr. | Full-time and part-time opportunities available

What Youll Do

  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Engage pediatric patients with fun, age-appropriate activities to promote participation and progress
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with agency standards

Who Were Looking For

  • Active OTR certification and valid Texas state license
  • Experience in pediatric therapy preferred (new grads with pediatric fieldwork experience encouraged to apply)
  • A collaborative, energetic professional who thrives in a home-based setting

Patient Population

Youll primarily work with children (ages 021) presenting with diagnoses such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, cerebral palsy, and fine/gross motor challenges.

Physical Requirements

  • Maintain various postures (kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting) for extended periods
  • Walk and run for extended periods
  • Transition independently from sitting to standing
  • Utilize quick body movements as required by behavior intervention plans
  • Lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Transfer, position, and transport patients and adaptive equipment
  • Read written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper
  • Perform data collection using electronic devices
