Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
On The Road Position | Pediatric Home Health

Our Intake Team carefully builds caseloads near your home, ensuring less driving and more meaningful time with the children you serve. You'll work under the guidance of a licensed PT in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Compensation
$40-$50/hr. | Full-time and part-time opportunities available
What You'll Do
  • Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans with measurable goals under the supervision of a licensed PT
  • Engage pediatric patients with fun, age-appropriate games and activities to keep them motivated
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Accurately document patient progress in a timely manner

Who We're Looking For
  • Active PTA certification and valid Texas state license
  • Experience in pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Energetic, patient-centered professional comfortable working in home-based settings

Patient Population
You'll work with children (ages 0-21) presenting with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, orthopedic conditions, neurological disorders, and gross motor challenges.

Physical Requirements
  • Maintain various postures (kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting) for extended periods
  • Walk and run for extended periods
  • Transition independently from sitting to standing
  • Utilize quick body movements as required by behavior intervention plans
  • Lift a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Transfer, position, and transport patients and adaptive equipment
  • Read written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper
  • Perform data collection using electronic devices
