Job description

Warehouse Associate
K & S is one of the largest and fastest growing tire recyclers in the Midwest. We looking for reliable, motivated tire handlers to join our team. This position will contribute to the warehouse team and help ensure goals are met safely and efficiently while conforming to all company policies. K&S offers performance incentives and competitive compensation.
The Warehouse Crew will process wheels and tires in a safe manner by loading and unloading trucks with product.
Also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse for our customers to safely access a wide selection of tires and satisfy environmental requirements by maintaining a clean and safe outside work area.
Responsibilities:
Manually load and unload tires onto and off of trucks and/or conveyer belt
Lift and manually stack tires into trucks, trailers, or the warehouse
Lift, bend, squat 25 - 50 pounds throughout the day
Utilize proper tire stacking procedures to ensure tires are stacked in a safe, secure and stable manner.
Properly sort tires before loading or unloading under the direction of the General Manager
Grade tires effectively and efficiently
Utilize appropriate knowledge of tires and tire safety
Accurately provide tire counts
Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of information
Qualifications:
Lift, bend, squat 25 - 50 pounds throughout the day
Previous automotive experience preferred
High school diploma preferred, but not required
