Job Summary:
MDAEdge is a company specializing in software release management for live games. They are seeking a Release Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the release process, ensuring compliance with release policies, and managing communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage release plans, including scheduling, coordination of release activities, and communication of release timelines to all stakeholders.
• Oversee the entire release process, ensuring compliance with release policies, and managing risks and resolving issues that affect release scope, schedule, and quality.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all release-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders and ensuring clear understanding of the release status, risks, and impacts.
• Work closely with the QA team to ensure that all releases meet quality standards and that proper testing is conducted prior to deployment.
• Collaborate with the Change Management team to ensure that software releases are aligned with change management policies and procedures, minimizing impact on operations.
• Analyze release processes and outcomes to identify areas for improvement, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of software deployments.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Prior experience as Release Manager with knowledge of and experience in release processes for live games.
