Job description

Overview:
Position: Release Train Engineer (Senior - Vulnerability Remediation Program)
Location: Remote
Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced Senior Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to lead and coordinate a large-scale vulnerability remediation program across multiple technology teams. This role requires strong program delivery leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to drive findings from discovery through closure. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex technology remediation, security, modernization, or regulatory initiatives, rather than focusing solely on Agile ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate vulnerability remediation across engineering, security, and technology teams.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and priorities across multiple workstreams.
  • Remove blockers and ensure smooth delivery of remediation activities.
  • Partner with architects, product owners, and security leaders to align remediation strategies.
  • Track vulnerability findings through validation, remediation, testing, and closure.
  • Facilitate program governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Drive adoption of SAFe/Agile practices while tailoring delivery to large enterprise programs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to ensure secure, compliant, and timely remediation.
Required Skills
  • Strong background in SAFe, Agile, and enterprise technology program delivery.
  • Proven experience in dependency and risk management across large programs.
  • Hands-on leadership in cybersecurity, technology transformation, or remediation initiatives.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex vulnerability findings into actionable program deliverables.
