This request is for a Technical Specialist who will serve as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial. The candidate should possess

  • Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
  • The ability to provide configuration management /release management support and guidance for Endevor software
  • Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
  • Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
  • The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings
  • The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as DIT personnel

Required Skills:
