Job description

TITLE: T-Cart Operator

REPORTS TO: Converting Supervisor/Superintendent

3rd Shift 11pm-7a

SUMMARY

Operators are responsible for handling units in a controlled manner. Finished sheets are moved from the takeoff lines to the transfer cart then placed on machine feed lines. Help move W.I.P sheets from storage area "A" to storage area "B" by way of the middle aisle transfer cart. W.I.P sheets are moved from takeoff lines to transfer cart and then placed in the W.I.P. storage

area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure and check the corrugator run sheet provided by the Scheduling department.

Any deviation from the schedule will be called in and changed on the Corr Plan Master Schedule

Relay messages to proper personnel promptly regarding necessary adjustments.

Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.

Adhere to the production schedule.

Count and verify unit and inch counts of units.

Ensure proper load tags are in each unit.

Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.

Additional duties may be assigned by management.
