Job description

We are hiring an Employee Relations Manager to join a top beauty company in Clearwater, FL. This freelance position will run for 12 months with potential to extend and will be hybrid onsite (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
  • Pay Rate: $50/HR
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with regional HR Business Partners and line managers to provide expert coaching on progressive discipline, conflict resolution, and corrective action.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for managers focused on leading with empathy, effective documentation, and labor law compliance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ER issues, providing balanced perspectives that mitigate risk while supporting business objectives.
  • Evaluate current ER intake and investigation processes to identify bottlenecks; design and implement streamlined, scalable workflows.
  • Conduct thorough, objective investigations into high-level or sensitive complaints
  • Analyze ER trends to proactively identify key areas within the organization and develop targeted intervention plans.Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years dedicated specifically to Employee Relations or Labor Relations in a national or multi-state capacity.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate sensitive conversations with neutrality and empathy
  • Influential verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting leadership
  • Project Management: Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives from conception to execution.
  • Experience in retail or the professional beauty industry is highly desirable
