Familiarity with electronic document management systems (EDMS), submission publishing tools, and possibly certifications such as Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) are commonly expected. Excellent attention to detail, project management, and effective communication skills enable individuals to coordinate across teams and ensure timely submissions. These competencies are critical for maintaining compliance, minimizing risk, and supporting the efficient approval of products in highly regulated industries.

Job description
Capital One, a Fortune 100 company and one of the nation's top 10 banks, offers a broad spectrum of financial products and services to consumers, small businesses and commercial clients. Our goal is to create one of the nation's great banks, and we have the necessary ingredients: a strong balance sheet, resilient businesses, a massive customer franchise, strong analytical capabilities, and great people. This position offers direct engagement with federal regulators and internal leadership, providing a strong platform for professional growth within our regulatory affairs and risk management organizations.

- Demonstrate empathy when collaborating with internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate seamless examiner onboarding by managing end-to-end logistics for examination readiness (e.g., application provisioning and access, coordinating facility access)
- Drive process excellence by identifying and executing continuous improvement opportunities within the Regulatory Affairs team
- Govern facility logistics and maintenance for large-scale on-site examiner teams across multiple sites, ensuring operational readiness
- Manage critical correspondence and document flow between the Company and regulatory agencies, utilizing secure portals to maintain data integrity and compliance
- Support the end-to-end lifecycle of regulatory data collection and management, enabling actionable business insights and a proactive approach to regulatory matters
- Champion operational efficiency by designing and deploying AI-driven tools that automate manual workflows and streamline regulatory processes
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- At least 2 years of experience in Risk Management or Process Management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or military experience
- At least 1 year of Compliance, Legal, Regulatory or Operations experience
- At least 3 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal and external business clients
- At least 2 years of experience using Tableau, SQL, or other analytics tools
