Job description

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
JOB DESCRIPTION
Registrars have the opportunity to serve as one of the first contact points for our patients, directly impacting the patient experience at Schneck. This position pre-registers scheduled surgeries and Diagnostic Imaging scans, while also verifying demographic and insurance information to ensure that patients are ready for date of service. Additional duties include claim submission.
EDUCATION
Minimum: High school diploma or GED/HSE accredited by the State Board of Education.
EXPERIENCE
Preferred: At least one year working in a hospital setting. Work experience interviewing patients promptly and accurately.
