Job description

TheManager of Registration Services plans, coordinates, and directs the policies, procedures and processes of registration in all Clinical Departments and at all locations. The manager will work effectively with other managers and physicians of the department's operation to accomplish organizational goals. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining standardized processes, procedures and workflows for patient scheduling and registration. The registration staff at all locations will have regularly scheduled face to face communication from the Registration Manager at their respective locations. The Manager of Registration Services is directly responsible to the Vice President of Ambulatory Satellites for the technical activities, education of Key performance indicators, and work flows at the registration desk.
• Associate's degree in related field and/or three years supervisory experience in a clinical or healthcare setting required.
• Managerial skills and leadership qualities
• Two years' experience in a healthcare setting
• Thorough knowledge of the Revenue Cycle
• Thorough knowledge of the scheduling and registration process and essential systems used to for Registration and Patient Access
• Knowledge of Coding
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology
