Job description

LHH is actively searching for Registration Coordinators for one of our top clients in Reno! This will be a short - term contract opportunity with our client and will report onsite to their office in Reno!
Registration Coordinator
Available Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. PT
  • Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. PT
  • Monday-Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. PT
Start Every Successful Move
Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service? We're looking for a Registration Coordinator to help customers begin their relocation journey with confidence.
In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact in the relocation process by registering customer shipments, maintaining accurate records, coordinating with transportation partners, and ensuring every move starts on the right track. Your accuracy, responsiveness, and commitment to exceptional service will play a key role in creating a seamless customer experience.
What You'll Do
Coordinate Order Registration & Shipment Information
  • Register new customer relocation orders and shipment information in company systems.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records, schedules, documentation, and task tracking.
  • Review files for completeness, identify discrepancies, and resolve data issues.
  • Track shipment activity with transportation providers, including trucking companies, steamship lines, rail carriers, and other logistics partners.
  • Scan, organize, and manage documents within the document management system.
Deliver Outstanding Customer Service
  • Respond to customer phone calls and emails with professionalism and urgency.
  • Provide shipment updates and answer questions throughout the registration process.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Escalate service issues when appropriate to ensure timely resolution.
  • Handle customer and shipment information with confidentiality and care.
Support Operational Excellence
  • Help achieve departmental performance goals and service standards.
  • Complete daily administrative tasks, including data entry, document processing, and other office support activities.
  • Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Contribute ideas that improve processes, accuracy, and the overall customer experience.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or related coursework preferred.
  • Two or more years of administrative, logistics, transportation, customer service, or related experience.
  • Import/export or domestic and/or international transportation and logistics experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with ten-key proficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion.
