  4. Issue,document,andmanagevisitorbadgesandensurevisitorsareproperlyescortedwhileonfacilitypremises.
  5. Enforcefacilityaccessrules,includingdenyingentryorrequestingindividualsleavethepremiseswhenrequiredbypolicy.
  6. Monitorsurveillancesystemsandsecurityequipmenttoidentifysuspiciousactivityandrespondtoregulatoryrequestsasrequired.
  7. Perform routine and periodic checks of electronic security systems, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems, to ensure proper operation.
  8. Assess developing situations and engage with customers, patients, or employees to deescalate conflicts, disturbances, or disruptive behavior in a calm and professional manner.
