We 're Hiring a Territory Manager in the Northeast!

Job Summary:

The Territory Manager (Municipal wastewater) is responsible for growth of the Northeast Regional Sales for Municipal Wastewater (Envirex & Davco). Role will be responsible and work to achieve long-term growth and expand into new markets, with a particular focus on the wastewater treatment sector. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of initiatives that drive adoption of advanced treatment solutions. The territory manager works along side the applications team, while providing strategic guidance to meet and exceed sales targets. Success in this position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of both municipal sales processes and environmental treatment technologies. This role covers the Northeast US territory.


Responsibilities:
Sales Management

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company's sales target

Monitor and analyze market trends and competitors' activities
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth sales process and customer satisfaction

Manage CRM pipeline and use as a daily sales tool to manage region & channel partner performance.
Review and improve sales processes and policies to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Technical Expertise
Understand and stay updated on company's products and services
Provide technical support and advice to sales team and customers
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to showcase company's products and services

Understanding of Wastewater Treatment equipment, specific to the Clarification and Biological product lines.
Client Relationship Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with Northeast region channel partners and key clients (engineers, owners, contractors)
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing clients
Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions

Address any customer concerns or issues in a timely and effective manner
Budget and Forecasting
Prepare and manage sales budgets and forecasts
Monitor and report on sales performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Ensure sales team meets or exceeds sales targets and objectives
Identify and implement cost-saving measures to optimize sales operations
Team Collaboration and Communication
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the sales team
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure alignment and cooperation
Provide regular updates and reports to upper management on sales activities and results
Collaborate with marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and materials
Professional Development
Stay updated on industry trends, developments, and best practices
Attend relevant training and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge
Actively seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
Mentor and coach sales team members to help them reach their full potential.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Science or related field, with 5+ years experience, with at least 2 years experience

8+ years' sales or sales related experience
Knowledge of Municipal Wastewater, biological equipment and clarification equipment.
Strong technical skills with proficiency in sales tools and software (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365, CRM systems).
Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and plans.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively.

Experience managing Channel Partner Representatives
A strategic thinker with a test-and-learn approach to marketing efforts and process improvements.
Resource Allocation: Allocate personnel, tools, and other resources efficiently to achieve project goals. Balance competing priorities and adapt as needed.
End-to-End Project Management: Lead improvement projects from initiation to completion. Monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure timely delivery of measurable results.

Travel percentage up to 50% (overnight travel).

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $130,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
