Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with experience in pumps and industrial equipment? Do you enjoy helping customers solve challenges, growing a territory, and building long-term partnerships? If so, we'd love to talk with you.
As a Regional Sales Manager - Pumps, you'll play a key role in driving growth and expanding market share for McLanahan's pump product lines. You'll work closely with distributors, dealers, customers, and internal teams to identify opportunities, develop solutions, and deliver exceptional support throughout the sales process.
This is a highly visible role that combines business development, technical sales, customer relationship management, and product expertise. If you're energized by travel, customer interaction, and helping grow a business, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do
Grow and Develop Your Territory

  • Drive sales growth and increase market share within your assigned territory.
  • Build, develop, and strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, and sales representatives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up on sales leads.
  • Develop and execute territory plans that align with company sales goals and objectives.
  • Meet and exceed established sales targets.

Partner with Customers
  • Work directly with customers to understand their needs and recommend the best pump solutions for their applications.
  • Provide technical and commercial support throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing and prospective customers to build long-term partnerships.
  • Deliver responsive post-sale support and assistance when needed.

Represent McLanahan in the Market
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, customer events, and industry meetings to promote McLanahan's products and capabilities.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Represent McLanahan professionally while demonstrating our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer success.

Support Product and Technical Solutions
  • Coordinate and support material testing activities and communicate results to customers.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, reports, and other sales-related documentation.
  • Deliver product training and support for distributors, representatives, and customers.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive activity.

Collaborate Across Teams
  • Work closely with Engineering, Project Management, and other internal departments to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.
  • Participate in meetings and continuous improvement initiatives that support business growth and customer satisfaction.

Travel and Customer Engagement
  • Travel extensively throughout your territory and other locations as needed to support customers, distributors, and industry events.
  • Travel is expected to be approximately 50-70%, including domestic and international travel.

What You'll BringExperience & Qualifications
  • Five (5) or more years of experience working with pumps and pump distributors.
  • Experience in technical, industrial, or equipment sales.
  • Experience working in a Lean and/or ISO environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pump applications and customer requirements.
