Responsibilities:

The Regional Sales & Operations Manager must exhibit certain characteristics and perform specific duties during their daily or weekly routine. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and Behaviors and Aveda Success Factors
  • Meet and exceed performance goals established by the President, Senior Director of Student Business Operations, and the Director of Sales & Business Development
  • Collaborate with President and Senior Director of Business Operations to execute regional enrollment and revenue growth strategies for our North Carolina Institutes
  • Collaborate with Admissions, Education, Marketing, and Leadership teams to align recruitment and partnership strategies
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, adjusting strategies to achieve goals
  • Lead teams in maximizing sales by coaching staff on product knowledge and upselling techniques
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and community outreach initiatives
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive insights, and growth opportunities
  • Monitor territory performance and identify opportunities for market growth
  • Prospect and develop relationships with businesses interested in the company's product and service offerings
  • Identify and onboard Med Spas, Day Spas, and skin-led businesses in the identified region
  • Create an educational hub atmosphere and offer regular education to our prospective and established partnerships
  • Partner with owners and teams to support growth throughout education, events, and collaborative marketing initiatives
  • Strengthen partnerships that support both business growth and student career placement opportunities
  • Plan and host events to drive customer engagement and strengthen partnerships with other businesses
  • Showcase innovation: represent our brands at trade shows, demos, and events
  • Participate in Aveda, Nurtur, and Ultraceuticals events including career fairs, marketing events, Earth Month, Beauty for a Cure, etc
  • All other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years of successful sales and/or business development experience - ideally in skincare, beauty, or wellness
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills
  • Comfortable presenting to groups and representing the Company at events
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently across a multi-location territory, while collaborating a with a supportive, national team as-needed
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools
  • Management and training experience highly preferred
  • Time-management and organizational skills, with the ability to work at a fast pace and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness and ability to take initiative and exhibit resourcefulness
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the identified region, with additional travel to the home office as needed
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
  • Strong operational management and financial analysis skills


Travel Requirements:

The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training as necessary.
