Job Description
The Manager - Brand Operations Region is responsible for serving as brand and category steward, and the day-to-day liaison for total portfolio of brands, working closely with all Parent Company leads, Category Commercial teams, Corporate Marketing, Supply Chain and Region leadership teams.
**This position may sit anywhere in Central Region**
What your day will look like:
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the UNITED policies and applicable laws
  • Interview, hire, and train associates
  • Plan, assign, and direct work
  • Appraise performance
  • Address complaints and resolve problems
  • Builds positive associate morale
  • Manage portfolio lifecycle
  • Creation and communication of Brand/Category Plans
  • Strategic planning for brands and packages
  • Work closely with Price Revenue Growth Manager to give pricing direction
  • Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to manage inventory
  • Gather information relative to Parent Company funding and present recommendations on how to best use the funds available to support brand and retail plans
  • Submit for all Parent Company funding and work with Corp/Region/Division accounting personnel to make sure it is properly accounted for and received
  • Work with Sales organization to develop merchandising standards
  • Works closely with Supply Chain on forecasting and launch timing
  • Updates key UNITED stakeholders on introduction performance, identify availability targets and speed to market
  • Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed:
  • Minimum age 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets

  • Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 5 years or more related experience and/or training in a field marketing or category commercialization role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Excel)
  • Ability to quickly learn Internal UNITED systems
  • Experience in field marketing or category commercialization
  • Written and oral communication skills

Physical Requirements
Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program.
